Juanjo Herrera Aranda

Hi! 😊 My name is Juanjo. I’m passionate about mathematics, physics, and artificial intelligence. Beyond academia, I am also an enthusiastic practitioner of extreme sports, such as diving and skiing.

I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Granada, Spain. My PhD thesis focuses on zero-shot learning, with particular emphasis on preprocessing the semantic space. My supervisors are Isaac Triguero Velázquez, Guillermo Gómez-Trenado, and Francisco Herrera Triguero at the University of Granada. I have also collaborated with Shreyank N. Gowda at the University of Nottingham, where I was a visiting PhD student.

I hold a BSc in Mathematics, a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Quantum Computing, and an MSc in Data Science and Computer Engineering.
